A cookie mix made with flour milled from domestically grown wheat. It produces cookies with a crisp, light texture and a pleasant bite. The dough is easy to handle, making it suitable even for beginners. Using a 4 cm cutter, the mix yields about 20 cookies and is portioned for one batch.
Preparation (cut-out cookies)
Ingredients: 1 pack of this mix, 40 g butter, 1 egg.
1. Bring the butter to room temperature until soft. Line a baking tray with baking paper and preheat the oven to 170 °C.
2. Place the softened butter and the mix in a bowl and combine with a spatula. Add the egg and mix for about 2 minutes until the dough comes together.
3. Place the dough between sheets of plastic wrap and roll it out with a rolling pin to about 4 mm thickness.
4. Cut with cookie cutters of your choice and arrange on the tray with some space between each piece.
5. Bake at 170 °C for 15–17 minutes. Once baked, transfer to a rack and allow to cool.
The mix can also be used to prepare piped cookies.
Keep refrigerated after opening
