[Hui guo rou Sauce] A rich and sweet sauce combining the deep flavors of tianmianjiang (sweet bean paste) and douchi (fermented black beans), accented with garlic.
[Spicy Seasoning] A chili paste made with doubanjiang, roasted garlic, and a touch of Shaoxing wine. You can adjust the heat level to your liking.
Ingredients (Serves 3–4)
• Cabbage – 1/4 head (approx. 300g)
• Leek – 1 stalk (approx. 150g)
• Green pepper – 2 pieces (approx. 60g)
• Sliced pork belly – 200g (Yakiniku-style pork slices also work well)
• Salad oil – 4 tbsp (approx. 48g)
• This product – 1 packet of Hui guo rou Sauce + 1 packet of Spicy Seasoning
Instructions
1. Cut cabbage into large bite-sized pieces, green peppers into chunks, leeks into diagonal slices, and pork belly into 5cm pieces.
2. Put cabbage, green pepper, and 1 tbsp oil into a plastic bag. Mix well and spread on a large microwave-safe plate. Cover loosely with plastic wrap and microwave.
[Guide] 500W: 5 min 30 sec. Drain after heating.
3. Heat 1 tbsp oil in a frying pan. Sauté pork and leek over medium heat until cooked through. Remove and set aside.
4. Add 2 tbsp oil and the Hui guo rou Sauce to the frying pan. Heat over medium heat until bubbling. Add microwaved vegetables and cooked meat, and stir-fry everything over high heat until well mixed.
Add spicy seasoning as desired.
Store in cool dry place
