This is a ready-to-eat pasta sauce (retort pouch) that is already pre-cooked. Simply heat it up and pour it over cooked pasta. You can heat it in two ways:

Hot Water Bath: Place the unopened pouch in boiling water and heat for 3–5 minutes.

Microwave: Transfer the sauce to a deep, heatproof container, cover loosely with plastic wrap, and heat.
