A mix for making chewy cheese bread balls easily at home.
They have a pleasantly chewy texture and rich cheese flavour. Perfect for breakfast or as a snack. You can also customise them by using different cheeses or adding herbs, sesame seeds, or edamame.

Instructions

Makes about 16 cheese balls (5 cm diameter)
Preparation time: about 40 minutes

Ingredients
Mix 200g
Whole eggs (about 2 medium eggs) 100g
Vegetable oil or olive oil 40g
Grated cheese (such as Parmesan or Edam) 50g
Water 100mL

Tools
Mixing bowl, spatula, baking paper, oven

1. Place all ingredients in a bowl and mix with a spatula until evenly combined and no dry powder remains.
2. Knead by hand for about 3 minutes until the dough becomes smooth and forms a ball.
3. Divide the dough into 16 portions and roll into balls. Arrange on a baking tray lined with baking paper, leaving space between each piece as they expand during baking.
4. Bake in a preheated oven at 170°C for about 25 minutes until lightly golden.

Baking time and temperature may vary depending on the oven.
